I looked at the calendar and can hardly believe we’re in the middle of July! Before lamenting how the summer is midway, I thought I’d celebrate the fact that we’re halfway through 2014 and Section 101 is on a major roll! We have a lot to be proud of as we head in to the second half of the year.
On the home front, our staff continues to grow, and we have a solid, strong team. Many of the people working at Section 101 are celebrating one, two and three year anniversaries – always a good sign – and we just promoted Rebecca Calejo to a Business Development role. This is especially sweet for us as Becky started at Section 101 four years ago!
As company leader, I am proud of my team and excited for our clients. We have had tremendous growth in new clients per industry solution, doubling in the past six months. Section 101 now has verticals for TV/Film/Theatre, Author & Book Publishing, Music Artists, Music Companies, Fitness & Lifestyle, Creative (photographers, artists, DJs and more) and Events. We are so pleased we can help people promote themselves, and make a living, via their website, which connects them with their consumer base. Clients tell us how happy they are because Section 101 isn’t a generic website building platform – it is detailed to their needs and their industry.
To top off what has already been a terrific year for Section 101, we were recently recognized as one of the top thirty growth companies (out of over 300,000!) by SIGNL. It feels really good that people are taking notice of what we love doing!
