How many different ways can you say WOW??! The Section 101 CMJ Showcase at Rockwood 2 on October 17th was, well…WOW! We knew it was going to be great, but we didn’t know it was going to be EPIC! Extraordinary performances from wonderful artists we are so proud to work with on a daily basis. The show kicked off with My Glorious Mess who, led by Joseph Blaise, performed their eclectic brand of pop-rock, grabbing a hold of the audience and not letting go. Next was Todd Alsup, who got the crowd rocking with an amazing selection of his singing and songwriting. Jenn Bostic played next, captivating the audience with her incredible talent and heartbreaking performance of “Jealous of the Angels.” The last performer was the captivating (to put it mildly) Jonatha Brooke. As performers go, you would never be disappointed in a set from her. Talk about charisma, talent and showmanship, she has it all. As one person tweeted after the show “is there a stage left, or did you set it on fire?” It was truly a night to remember, and Section 101 couldn’t be more proud, excited, thrilled and rocked out from working with these four incredible artists. Thank you for an extraordinary night!!
