QUANTUM COLLECTIVE CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL THIRD ANNUAL SOUTHWEST INVASION DURING SXSW

NEW YORK, NY -- Innovative music marketing company Quantum Collective celebrated a successful third annual Southwest Invasion on March 14 and 15 at the Whole Foods Flagship Rooftop in Austin, TX. With over 10,000 music lovers in attendance for the two full days of free, all ages music featuring 31 acts, it was the place to be during SXSW. This year’s headliners included Matisyahu, G. Love, A Great Big World, Lisa Marie Presley, Suzanne Vega, Mary Lambert, Barcelona, Bad Things featuring Shaun White, Boy & Bear, and We Were Promised Jetpacks.

Music magazine Relix partnered up with Quantum Collective as the official media partner, offering coverage before and after the event in their print and online editions (relix.com and jambands.com). Additional press support came from ABC, NBC, Spin, Sirius XM, and local Austin outlets Austin Fusion Magazine, Austin American Statesman, Austin Chronicle and DO512, among many others.

Sponsor Fitbit outfitted some of the Quantum Collective Southwest Invasion performers with their Fitbit wristbands prior to the event. The artists were surprised and pleased to learn just how much exercise they were doing on stage! Another sponsor, UBER, provided free rides to the event and collaborated with Quantum Collective on a VIP Experience Giveaway. Black Box also teamed up with Quantum Collective, offering instant, free prints of fans’ photos when “#QuantumParty” was used on Instagram posts.

Coconut Water, Tikly ticketing, Section 101, RipTide Music Group, Manic Monkee, Caroline Distribution, Red Boot PR, Relix, Austin Fusion Magazine, Santa Fe Brewing Company, Whole Foods and Whole Planet Foundation.

Proceeds from the event benefited the Whole Planet Foundation to empower female entrepreneurs to change their own lives.
