Section 101 will be a big presence in Austin during SXSW this year, with CEO Liz Leahy heading up the Courting Your Fans, How to Make the Romance Last panel, which takes place on Thursday March 13th at 5pm in the Austin Convention Center Room 11AB. Panelists include Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega, Berklee College of Music's Head of Social Media Magen Tracy and Dan Silver, VP of Creative for Riptide Music Group.
In addition to paneling and exhibiting, Section 101 is also a co-founder of the Quantum Collective, an innovative music marketing company that brings music artists, celebrities and consumer brands together through innovative programs and live events. The Collective will be presenting their third annual Southwest Invasion during SXSW, which features 32 bands over two full days of music, art, food and fun. Confirmed performers include Lisa Marie Presley, Bad Things featuring Shaun White, A Great Big World, Suzanne Vega, G. Love, Matisyahu and more. The all-ages event takes place on the Whole Foods Rooftop in downtown Austin on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15th from 10a-10p.
