Section 101 was very excited to be one of the sponsors of last night’s WOMEN IN MUSIC event in New York City. WIM’s Annual Holiday party was held at hotspot (le) poisson rouge, where they celebrated the achievements and contributions of women in the music industry throughout this past year. There was much to cheer about! In addition to a great atmosphere, complimentary drinks and snacks, music was provided by up and coming artist Verite,  while DJs Shannonagins and Jackie Smiley spun the dance music! 

Section 101 has a long-standing relationship with Women In Music, and have participated in many of their events. Women In Music advances awareness of equality, diversity, opportunities and more of women in the musical arts through education, support, empowerment and recognition.
