Section 101, a website platform for music, arts and entertainment industries, is pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Calejo to Senior Director, Partnerships & Biz Dev.
As well as continuing to work with the Premium Client Services, Becky has been promoted to oversee all the company’s partnerships and business development. Becky will lead her teams to grow and service Section 101’s premium client piece as well as direct the development of new partnerships.
As the company continues to grow, with both premium clients and DIY sites launching every day, finding the right associates for Section 101 is essential. Becky brings not only a familiarity with all facets of the Section 101 brand but a strong database of contacts having been with the company for four years.
Section 101 partners include:
• International Songwriting Competition
• Jimmy Lloyd Songwriting Showcase
Says company CEO Liz Leahy, “There was no one better suited for this position than Becky. Between her time at the company, how well-liked she is by all of our existing partners and her expertise with the Section 101 platform inside and out, we couldn’t be happier for Becky to take on this role and further develop Section 101’s business partnerships.”
On the Premium Client Service side, Becky oversees all the Premium websites on the Section 101 platform including Aimee Mann, Pentatonix, Duran Duran, BUSH, Eagles of Death Metal, Vincent Spano, BWR Public Relations, The Rube Goldberg Estate, Caroline Distribution and more. She and her staff work alongside the client on both creative and design, from conception to launch, making sure all needs were met along the way. A Section 101 success story, Becky started as an intern in 2010 after graduating from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where she was, among other things, a popular DJ at the school’s WUSC FM radio station.
Becky also oversees Section 101’s robust referral system which connects us with highly qualified prospects. To learn more please email [email protected].
