New Music Seminar’s cornerstone event will take place from June 17-19th in New York City at Webster Hall in the East Village (125 East 11th Street, New York, NY). Liz will be doing an 18-minute intensive talk on Monday, June 18 at 4:00pm. Liz’s intensive focuses on all the power an artists has, and how best to harness it. An area of expertise for her, she will be discussing all the ways a music artist can utilize the online creativity at their fingertips. Says Liz, “The good news about being a creative artist is that it is really all about you - and this IS good news. It's not about taking on a huge amount of work, or having to become an expert, it's about wanting to participate in all the areas that comprise your artistry.”
Section 101 will be exhibiting in the Main Room Upper Balcony of Webster Hall, where the company will have a booth set up, and will be providing demonstrations, answering questions and giving tutorials throughout the conference. S101 will also be spending time across the street from Webster at the Village Pourhouse at 64 Third Avenue at 11th Street. The company will be there on Monday and Tuesday, with a special table set up to take meetings and do further tutorials for interested parties.
