Her debut EP, Freefall, received airplay in her native Australia, where her smoky, jazzy, middle-eastern infused tunes brought forth many news fans and comparisons to strong songstresses including Kate Bush, Bjork and Tori Amos. She now brings her talents worldwide with her upcoming full-length release, See, Saw, due for release in 2012. Mixed by Grammy winning mixer John Hudson (Tina Turner, Faith No More), the album is a tapestry of influences, sounds and emotion. Noemi is at the helm of all her expression, from beats to lyrics to the arrangements, earning her the reputation of a musical sensation for her multiple capacities. Much in demand, she has recently worked with the Chicago Classical Oriental Ensemble (an offshoot of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) as an arranger, and has collaborated with international performers such as renowned Biennale artist Heri Dono and acclaimed Iraqi Israeli master Oud player, violinist and composer, Yair Dalal.
