, a leading destination for artists wishing to take control of their digital world, announced today at SXSW that a subsidiary of their company has acquired certain assets of Band Metrics to build a new analytical service, incorporating existing analytical tools from Section 101.
With Section 101, entrepreneurs Elizabeth Leahy and Jim Hoffman have created an evolutionary new web platform that provides online branding, content management, marketing and analytics for musicians. Section 101 provides a turnkey solution for artists and brands wanting to give their audience a rich experience while boosting their opportunity for greater success.
Company CEO and President Elizabeth Leahy shared the company’s excitement over this new acquisition, “The integration of our existing analytical tools with the Band Metrics brand will provide artists with a destination for measuring fan interactions and engagement. We are thrilled to continue to enable artists to make better decisions about their online strategy.”
