CEO LIZ LEAHY SITS FOR COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY OFFICE HOURS

Section 101 CEO Liz Leahy has been asked to continue office hours at Columbia University, moving forward with her commitment to mentor students interested in entrepreneurship.

Coordinated through the Lang Center for Entrepreneurship, hours are made available to all students across the schools, including Barnard College, Columbia Business School, Teachers College and more. The only “requirement” to meet with Liz is to be interested in entrepreneurship. Columbia offers this service as a great way to connect with alumni who have different skills sets. Meeting for thirty-minute intervals, Liz not only speaks to people about business, but also how to promote, market, publicize and present their product. At a recent meeting with a student who had a terrific business idea Liz pointed out that his website and logo weren’t working for him and explained why. He told Liz it was the best 30 minutes he’d spent on the project!

If you’re a student at Columbia, and are interested in meeting with Liz, please contact the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center .
