Section 101, a New York based company that delivers a dynamic web-based solution providing simple and effective tools for music and entertainment brands has launched a new site for Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Sam Phillips at https://samphillips.com .

Sam’s new website is as dynamic as her career. After launching as a Christian musician, Sam Phillips made a complete switch to mainstream with the release of her album THE INDESCRIBIBLE WOW on Virgin Records. Three albums later, Phillips signed with Nonesuch Records, and released the more acoustic based, and critically lauded, FAN DANCE. Around this same time she also began scoring the music for the acclaimed television show, THE GILMORE GIRLS, even appearing, and performing, in an episode of the show.

Way ahead of her time, Phillips launched The Long Play in 2009, a music subscription service for artists without a label. The purpose of Long Play was a unique and ambitious web-based art and music installation featuring short films, original essays, candid footage of her at work in the studio, photographs by and of her and other exclusive material as well as the new music. The Long Play closed in May, 2013, as Phillips focused on her new album and scoring the ABC Family hit series “Bunheads.” Sam’s tenth album, PUSH ANY BUTTON, was streamed exclusively by NPR the week of July 29^th and will be released on August 16th, 2013.

Her new site is completely different from anything Section 101 has ever done creatively. Says Section 101 Client Services Director Rebecca Calejo, “The home page and secondary pages use a series of boxes with rollover navigation links to create an interactive experience for fans. The website complements the vibe of PUSH ANY BUTTON, using some really great vintage imagery. We are so proud of the way the site turned out, and, we are happy to hear, so is Sam and her entire team.”
