SECTION 101 ACQUIRES CERTAIN ASSETS OF BAND METRICS THROUGH A SUBSIDIARY TO BUILD NEW ANALYTICAL SERVICE FOR MUSIC INDUSTRY

AUSTIN, TX - (March 17, 2011) - Section 101, a leading destination for artists wishing to take control of their digital world, announced today at SXSW that a subsidiary of their company has acquired certain assets of Band Metrics to build a new analytical service, incorporating existing analytical tools from Section 101. With Section 101, entrepreneurs Elizabeth Leahy and Jim Hoffman have created an evolutionary new web platform that provides online branding, content management, marketing and analytics for musicians.
